THESE NEEDS IN AFRICA...
  • HUNGER: Even with 70% of Africans involved in agriculture, millions of people still face starvation.

  • ORPHANS: Of over 30 million orphans in Africa, 10 million of these children live in "orphan headed" households. In some countries, a 15-year-old boy or girl has less than a 30% chance of living to be 30 years old.

  • WOMEN: Tens of millions of women live in cultures where they are not recognized as adults, but only as minors with limited opportunities to improve their lives or receive an education. A horrible cultural practice of female circumcision maims or kills hundreds of thousands of young girls each year.

  • DISEASE: Bad water, malaria and other tropical diseases kill millions of people each year. HIV/AIDS related deaths number over 200,000 a month, —more than died in the December 2004 tsunami. Tens of thousands of those deaths are innocent children.

  • EDUCATION/LEADERSHIP: The majority of Africans have limited educational opportunities. This is especially true for girls.

  • POVERTY: The average African lives on less than $1 a day, which compounds hunger, political unrest, disease and war.
...ARE BEING MET BY H.I.M.
