The Global Resources Center for MEDICS International Care, Inc. is located in Mangum, Oklahoma. This facility is managed by Richard F. Williams, Director of Operations. The Center consists of two warehouse buildings with 12,500 square feet of warehouse space and offices. It is at this location that MEDICS gathers and stores medical equipment, medical supplies and medicines. It is also from this location that MEDICS ships everything from a box of band aids to shipping containers containing equipment and supplies for a complete hospital. Small shipments go out regularly to short-term medical teams, which travel and work at mission sites around the world. Volunteer work teams come to Mangum from across the United States to volunteer at the facility. Their work may consist of sorting medications, cleaning up medical equipment, helping to build crates for shipping equipment or sorting medical supplies. The facility has sleeping quarters for volunteer teams and can sleep 12 people. The "Bunk House" is complete with full kitchen, laundry, bedrooms and a large living room for devotions and fellowship. Teams have come from as far as the East coast and West coast to be a part of this ministry.
