Economic growth is at the center of MEDICS' focus on empowering churches and their impoverished people. In fact, MEDICS' holistic vision is based on the belief that Jesus Christ ministered to the whole person — body, mind, and spirit. If we focus soley on spiritual transformation, and do nothing to empower believers in the material and social realms, we are delivering a Gospel that falls short of the example set by our Lord. Our model would be incomplete. For this reason, MEDICS International, working with our business alliance partners and local church leadership, strives to bring economic development to each Regional Empowerment Center.
