Information-technology (IT) and communication allows efficient and quicker sustainable development through the free exchange of informaiton and the ability to hold those in authority accountable.

Information technology allows the movement of ideas and information between people, to better cement the relationship of communities.

Communication allow for the necessary transparency that is needed for good governance at all levels.

MEDICS brings the technological know-how partners
to provide the following communication benefits:

  • Tracking property and equipment
     
  • Two-way communication between Regional Empowerment Centers within the target Zone and around the world
     
  • Downloading training data to the Centers for vocational, technical, community development and health
     
  • Uploading accountability reports, which allow a rapid response to problems
     
  • The capability for remote medical diagnostic and treatment assistance
