Transportation systems that allow the free movement of people, goods, and services are necessary for free trade to flourish. Transportation of goods accounts for only 10 percent of the ultimate cost of goods in the USA, while accounting for 40 percent of the cost of goods in Africa. Transport costs cause farmers to receive less for their crops while paying more for their raw materials.
MEDICS' concept recognizes the need for significant partners in heavy equipment and transportation vehicles to enhance the free movement of people and goods. With our heavy equipment partnerships, adequate roads will be built and maintained with the backup support of training, service and parts. Road infrastructure requires heavy-duty trucks to transport equipment, materials, and the fuel needed to build the roads. Likewise, without adequate roads, trucks are unable to connect the rural areas to the major cities and ports of Africa.

MEDICS is a 501(c)(3), non-profit, tax-exempt Christian ministry.
